Nevertheless, monitoring of ARG amplicon sequence variants (ARG-ASVs) in the immigration interface unveiled different immigration patterns such as (i) suppression of this native mixed liquor ARG-ASV by the immigrant, or alternatively (ii) full immigration failure of this influent ARG-ASV.
